The Milan Escort Network: Football, Money, and a Criminal Enterprise

By Kazeem Ajibola Shoyebo

Italian authorities have uncovered and dismantled a high-end prostitution network in Milan that operated under the guise of an events and nightlife business. The organization allegedly offered luxury “all-inclusive” packages combining club access, hotel stays, and sexual services to wealthy clients.

A financial police operation led to four arrests and the seizure of more than €1 million in assets, with investigators alleging the group engaged in pimping and money laundering activities.

Wiretap evidence paints a detailed picture of the network’s operations, including private parties involving escorts and recreational drug use, particularly nitrous oxide. In one intercepted conversation, a woman linked to the network reported that she had become pregnant.

The case has drawn intense attention due to its links to professional football. Investigators say a significant number of Serie A players were among the clients, with some reports suggesting figures in the dozens. However, no players have been charged or placed under investigation, and authorities currently consider them customers rather than participants in the criminal operation.
