Arokodare on the Scoresheet Despite Wolves’ 3–1 Defeat to Chelsea

Tolu Arokodare found the net for Wolverhampton Wanderers, but his effort proved a mere consolation as Chelsea ran out 3–1 winners at Molineux Stadium in Saturday’s Premier League fixture.

Chelsea seized control early, with Cole Palmer netting a first-half hat-trick — including two penalties — to put the visitors firmly in command before the break. Palmer’s goals came in the 13th, 35th and 38th minutes, leaving Wolves with a steep deficit heading into the second half.

Wolves responded after the interval when Arokodare scored in the 54th minute, reacting quickest to a flick-on in the box to give the home fans something to cheer about and reduce the deficit to 3–1.

Despite Arokodare’s composed finish and spirited effort, Wolverhampton were unable to mount a comeback as Chelsea maintained their momentum on the road. The result sees Wolves remain at the foot of the Premier League table, while Chelsea continue their push toward the top-four race under Liam Rosenior.
