Three of Africa’s brightest football stars, Achraf Hakimi, Mohamed Salah, and Chiamaka Nnadozie have been shortlisted for the prestigious The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025, affirming the continent’s growing influence on the global stage.
Hakimi and Salah are among 11 elite players nominated for The Best FIFA Men’s Player, while Nnadozie has been named one of seven contenders for The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper award.
The nominations celebrate consistent excellence and impactful performances across international and club football over the past year, including major tournaments and global competitions like the expanded FIFA Club World Cup.
