Victor Osimhen continued his impressive scoring run as Galatasaray defeated İstanbul Başakşehir 3–0 in a dominant Süper Lig encounter at RAMS Park, reinforcing their grip on the Turkish title race.
Galatasaray controlled proceedings for long stretches before finally breaking the deadlock shortly after the hour mark. Defender Wilfried Singo opened the scoring in the 57th minute, finishing from close range after sustained attacking pressure on the Başakşehir defence.
Nine minutes later, Osimhen doubled the lead with a clinical finish in the 66th minute, calmly converting inside the box after a well-worked attacking move to leave the visitors with a mountain to climb.
Galatasaray continued to dictate the tempo and wrapped up the victory late in the match when Renato Nhaga added a third goal in the 84th minute, sealing a comprehensive performance for the Istanbul giants.
The goal marked Osimhen’s 12th league strike of the season, underlining the Nigerian forward’s growing influence in Galatasaray’s attack as the campaign enters a decisive phase.
The Super Eagles striker has now been involved in a remarkable run of goals in recent weeks, consistently delivering decisive contributions that have helped Galatasaray maintain their momentum in both domestic and European competitions.
The victory further strengthened Galatasaray’s position near the top of the Süper Lig standings and extended their strong run of form as the season approaches its final stretch.
