Paris Saint-Germain and France forward Ousmane Dembélé has been crowned The Best FIFA Men’s Player for 2025, capping off a remarkable year in which he led PSG to their first-ever UEFA Champions League title and a domestic treble.
The 28-year-old’s stellar performances included scoring 35 goals across all competitions, with 21 in Ligue 1, making him the league’s top scorer. His contributions were pivotal in PSG’s 5–0 victory over Inter Milan in the Champions League final.
Dembélé’s achievements in 2025 also earned him the Ballon d’Or in September, highlighting his exceptional form throughout the season.
In the FIFA Best Awards ceremony held in Doha, Dembélé edged out competitors Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappé to claim the top honor. His versatility and adaptation to a central striker role were noted as significant factors in his success.
Other notable winners at the ceremony included Aitana Bonmatí, who secured The Best FIFA Women’s Player award for the third consecutive year, and PSG manager Luis Enrique, who was named The Best FIFA Men’s Coach.
With this accolade, Dembélé solidifies his status among football’s elite, becoming the first French player to win The Best FIFA Men’s Player award.
