Paris Saint-Germain and France forward Ousmane Dembélé has been named the Best Men’s Player of 2025 at the Globe Soccer Awards, held on Sunday, December 28, in Dubai. This accolade caps a remarkable year for Dembélé, who has also secured the Ballon d’Or and FIFA The Best awards, solidifying his status as the world’s premier footballer.
Dembélé’s stellar performance throughout the 2024–25 season was instrumental in PSG’s historic achievements. He scored 35 goals across all competitions, leading the club to its first UEFA Champions League title, a Ligue 1 championship, the Coupe de France, the Trophée des Champions, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
The Globe Soccer Awards, now in their 16th edition, determine winners through a combination of public voting and a specialized jury comprising directors, former players, and coaches. Dembélé’s recognition follows Brazilian forward Vinícius Júnior, who won the award in 2024.
In addition to Dembélé’s individual honor, PSG’s dominance was further acknowledged at the ceremony. Coach Luis Enrique was named Best Coach, and club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi received the Best President award. PSG was also honored as the Best Club of the Year.
Cristiano Ronaldo, at 40 years old, demonstrated his enduring excellence by receiving the Best Middle East Player award. He led Portugal to a UEFA Nations League title and contributed significantly to Al Nassr’s record-breaking start in the Saudi Pro League.
Dembélé’s exceptional season has not only brought him individual accolades but has also been pivotal in PSG’s unprecedented success, marking 2025 as a landmark year for both the player and the club.
