Umar Sadiq came off the bench to score as Valencia defeated Levante 2–0 away from home in a crucial La Liga derby victory on Sunday.
The Nigerian international struck late in the match to secure the result after Largie Ramazani had broken the deadlock earlier in the second half, completing an impressive performance by the visitors.
Sadiq’s goal, scored in the closing minutes, ensured Valencia wrapped up the contest and claimed maximum points in a fixture that boosted their position in the league standings.
The forward, introduced in the second half, showed composure to finish and confirm Valencia’s superiority after Ramazani’s opener had put them on course for victory.
It was another important moment for the Super Eagles striker, who is rediscovering his scoring rhythm and contributing decisively to Valencia’s push for stability this season.
