Nigeria’s Super Falcons have announced a strong 25-player roster for their upcoming double-header friendlies against Cameroon in Yaoundé, with a blend of experienced internationals and emerging talents selected as part of preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The squad is headlined by first-choice goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie and includes defensive leaders such as Osinachi Ohale, Ashleigh Plumptre, and Michelle Alozie.

In midfield, regulars Halimatu Ayinde, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, Jennifer Echegini, Deborah Abiodun, and Christy Ucheibe will be expected to provide stability and creativity.

Nigeria’s attack will be powered by proven forwards Rasheedat Ajibade, Gift Monday, Chinwendu Ihezuo, Esther Okoronkwo, and Omorinsola Babajide, alongside other attacking options.

Additional players named in the squad include goalkeepers Comfort Erhabor, Anderline Mgbechi, and Fatima Oloko; defenders Oluwatosin Demehin, Shukurat Oladipo, Glory Ogbonna, Sikiratu Isah, and Chidinma Okeke; midfielders Precious Christopher; and forwards Folashade Ijamilusi and Joy Omewa.

The friendlies are expected to help the coaching crew assess squad depth, build team chemistry, and prepare the team for the demands of the upcoming continental tournament.

Nigeria will be aiming to use the matches to strengthen their preparations as they target another successful campaign on the African stage.
