Manchester City edged out Arsenal 2–1 on Sunday in a tightly contested Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium, a result that could have significant implications for the title race. In a match defined by intensity, tactical discipline, and moments of individual quality, City once again demonstrated their ability to deliver under pressure in a high-stakes encounter.
The opening stages were played at a high tempo, with both sides looking to assert control in midfield. Arsenal attempted to mount a late response, introducing fresh attacking options and pushing numbers forward in search of another equaliser. Despite sustained pressure in the closing stages, City’s defensive structure held firm, limiting clear opportunities and managing the game effectively.
