Galatasaray delivered a strong response in the Turkish Süper Lig on Saturday, overcoming Alanyaspor in a 3–1 victory that saw Victor Osimhen reach double-figure league goals for the season.
The hosts got off to a fast start, with Sacha Boey giving Galatasaray the lead just before half-time, capitalising on attacking pressure to make it 1–0 going into the break.
Alanyaspor responded early in the second half as Steve Mounié levelled the scores in the 49th minute, bringing the visitors back into the contest.
Galatasaray regained control as the contest progressed, with Lucas Torreira restoring the advantage for the hosts and setting the stage for Osimhen to wrap up the scoring. The Nigerian international not only scored his 10th league goal of the season but also registered an assist, demonstrating his continued impact in the Turkish top flight.
The result further consolidates Galatasaray’s strong standing in the league, strengthening their bid for another title as they accumulate points ahead of key fixtures later in the season.
