Inter Milan go on a rampage in Holland as Bisseck, Esposito and Zieliński inspire 3–0 Feyenoord demolition

Inter Milan have produced a statement performance in the UEFA Champions League, sweeping aside Feyenoord 3–0 at De Kuip to return to winning ways in impressive fashion.

Cristian Chivu’s side delivered an outstanding display of attacking football, with Yann Bisseck, Francesco Pio Esposito and Piotr Zieliński scoring the goals that secured a convincing away victory.

Djed Spence was another standout performer, playing an important role in Inter’s first two goals as the visitors repeatedly exploited spaces down the right flank.

The victory was particularly satisfying for the Nerazzurri after their disappointing 3–1 Derby della Madonnina defeat to AC Milan.

Inter needed just eight minutes to break Feyenoord’s resistance. Yann Bisseck received the ball in an advanced position, turned brilliantly and produced a beautiful left-footed finish into the far corner.

It was the German defender’s first Champions League goal and an excellent contribution to Inter’s attacking performance.

Djed Spence helped create the opening, demonstrating his ability to influence matches beyond his defensive responsibilities.

Inter doubled their advantage in the 34th minute through Francesco Pio Esposito. Spence delivered another dangerous ball from the right, and after a deflection, Esposito reacted quickest to direct a header beyond goalkeeper Tjark Ernst.

The young Italian striker once again demonstrated his quality in front of goal, giving Chivu another reason to trust his attacking options.

Spence’s contribution to both opening goals was one of the biggest talking points of the night.

Nine minutes into the second half, Inter delivered the decisive blow. Piotr Zieliński drove forward before unleashing a powerful effort from outside the penalty area, beating Ernst to make it 3–0.

It was a superb finish that capped an excellent individual performance from the Polish midfielder. Inter continued to threaten and even had another Esposito goal ruled out for offside.

The victory was an important response from Cristian Chivu following the disappointment of the Milan derby. Inter showed improved concentration, attacking organisation and defensive discipline, controlling the contest without allowing Feyenoord to build meaningful momentum.

The result also takes the Italian giants to six points from their opening four Champions League league-phase matches.

Chivu has stressed that consistency remains essential as the team continues to develop its identity and ambitions this season.
