Yan Diomande is rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting young attackers in European football after a sensational run of form in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig.
The 19-year-old Ivory Coast international has produced 10 goals and five assists in his last 17 Bundesliga matches, underlining his growing influence in Leipzig’s attack and attracting attention across Europe.
Diomande, born in Abidjan, joined Leipzig in July 2025 after the German club triggered a €20 million release clause to sign him from Spanish side CD Leganés. He signed a five-year contract and quickly established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s most exciting young talents.
His performances have already sparked significant transfer interest, with Leipzig reportedly placing a €100 million valuation on the winger as several top European clubs monitor his progress.
The teenage forward has also delivered standout moments this season, including a memorable hat-trick in a 6-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, making him the second-youngest player in Bundesliga history to achieve the feat.
Operating primarily as a winger, Diomande has been praised for his pace, dribbling ability and composure in front of goal, qualities that have helped him break into the senior national team of Ivory Coast national football team despite his young age.
Still in the early stages of his top-flight career, Diomande’s rapid rise has already positioned him among the continent’s most promising young attackers, with scouts and analysts increasingly tipping the Ivorian teenager for a future among Europe’s elite stars.
