Rafiu Durosinmi continued his remarkable start to the Belgian Pro League season on Friday, scoring from the penalty spot as KRC Genk swept aside SK Beveren 4-0 at the Cegeka Arena.
The Nigerian striker opened the scoring in the ninth minute from the spot, setting Genk on their way to a dominant victory and extending his remarkable run to four goals in four consecutive league appearances. The match records confirm Durosinmi’s penalty as the opening goal of the contest.

The result takes Genk’s early-season record to two victories, one draw and one defeat after four league matches, while Durosinmi has emerged as one of the team’s most consistent attacking threats. Durosinmi, who joined Genk during the summer after leaving Italian club Pisa, has quickly settled into his new surroundings. Following the Beveren victory, the Nigerian striker described the start as a positive one and credited his teammates for helping him adapt and score regularly.
