Tottenham Hotspur have dismissed Igor Tudor after just 44 days in charge, following a disastrous run of results that plunged the club into a relegation battle.
The decision comes after a sequence of poor performances, with Spurs managing just one win in seven matches under the Croatian, leaving them dangerously close to the drop zone.
Tudor’s brief spell yielded alarming numbers with 7 matches played,1 win, 1 draw and 5 defeats.
The team struggled for consistency, conceding heavily and failing to convert chances, ultimately forcing the club’s hierarchy to act quickly.
Tottenham’s form under Tudor intensified concerns about minimal points gained in crucial fixtures, defensive instability across multiple games and mounting pressure from fans and stakeholders.
With the season entering a decisive phase, the club opted for immediate change in a bid to avoid relegation.
Appointed as a short-term solution, Tudor was unable to steady the squad or reverse the club’s downward trajectory.
His exit marks one of the shortest managerial reigns in Tottenham’s recent history, reflecting the urgency of the situation.
