Kai Havertz opened the scoring in the 15th minute before Bukayo Saka doubled Arsenal’s advantage eight minutes later. Captain Martin Ødegaard added a third in the 49th minute to complete a commanding victory for Mikel Arteta’s side.
The result gives the reigning champions the perfect start to the 2026/27 Premier League campaign, while Coventry, back in the top flight after 25 years, were unable to match Arsenal’s intensity and quality.
